Community midwives

Our community midwife will look after you during your pregnancy and after delivery of your baby. She will see you in her antenatal clinics.

Community nurses

Our district nurse attends patients who are confined to their own homes and in need of nursing care.

Health visitors

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.
